Optional: Garlic and Lowery's salt for added flavor
Instructions
Start by lining the bottom of your crockpot with aluminum foil. This will help distribute the heat evenly and prevent the corn from getting too hot.
Take each ear of corn and brush it with melted butter. This will add richness and moisture to the corn. Sprinkle dried onion, salt, pepper, and parsley (and optional garlic and Lowery's salt) over the corn, ensuring it is evenly coated with the seasonings.
Place the seasoned corn in the crockpot, making sure they are evenly spaced and not overcrowded.
Pour one cup of water into the bottom of the crockpot. The water will create steam, keeping the corn moist and juicy during the cooking process.
Cover the crockpot with a lid and set it to high heat. Let the corn cook for approximately 3 hours. Cooking times may vary, so keep an eye on the corn to ensure it doesn't overcook.
Once the corn is tender and cooked to perfection, carefully remove it from the crockpot. Serve it hot, and savor the incredible flavors and juiciness that this cooking method brings out.
Notes
You can add variety by including baby potatoes and baby carrots in the crockpot alongside the corn. Simply place them under the corn and season them with your preferred spices. This will give you a complete and flavorful meal in one pot.
