  • 1/4 cup warm water
  • 1 tablespoon dry yeast
  • 2 cups milk room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons softened butter
  • 6 cups bread flour

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, mix the warm water with the dry yeast.
  • Add the milk, brown sugar, salt, and softened butter to the mixture.
  • Stir well until all the ingredients are thoroughly combined.
  • Add 4 cups of the bread flour and knead the dough on a work surface for 10 minutes.
  • Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rest for 1 hour.
  • After resting, punch the dough down slightly and knead it again on a surface for 5 minutes.
  • Divide the dough into 2 equal parts.
  • Place each part into a baking mold and let them rest for an additional 45 minutes.
  • Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 40 minutes or until the bread is golden brown.
