Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 onion chopped
  • tbsp wheat flour
  • cups milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup tomato sauce
  • 2 cups sliced hearts of palm
  • 1 cup peas
  • 1 cup green corn
  • 1 package precooked lasagna pasta (500g)
  • 2 cups grated mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • In a pan, over medium heat, melt the butter and sauté the onion for 3 minutes.
  • Sprinkle the flour, stirring. Add the milk, little by little, stirring until it thickens.
  • Stir in the heavy cream, the sauce and season with salt and black pepper.
  • In a bowl, mix the hearts of palm, the peas and the corn.
  • In a medium baking dish, spread 2 tablespoons of the sauce and put together a layer of pasta, a layer of hearts of palm mixture, a layer of sauce and a layer of mozzarella.
  • Repeat the layers until all the ingredients are gone, ending with sauce.
  • Sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese and bake in a preheated medium oven for 20 minutes or until bubbling.
  • Let it rest for 10 minutes and serve.
