Ingredients
  

  • 1 3-pound beef chuck pot roast
  • 1 tablespoon steak seasoning blend
  • 1 large onion cut in wedges
  • 6 large carrots peeled and cut in pieces
  • 1 jar 12 ounces hot or mild sliced banana peppers

Instructions
 

  • Place chuck roast in a slow cooker crock.
  • Sprinkle the roast evenly with steak seasoning.
  • Arrange onion wedges and carrot pieces around the roast.
  • Pour the entire jar of banana peppers (including the juice) over the roast and vegetables.
  • Cover the slow cooker and cook on HIGH for 4.5 to 5 hours or on LOW for 6 to 8 hours until the beef is fork-tender.
