Aloe Vera with Cinnamon Drink

Ingredients:

  • Aloe Vera: 1 fresh leaf (extract only the clear inner gel/crystal).
  • Cinnamon: 2 cinnamon sticks or 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon.
  • Water: 2–3 cups.
  • Optional: 3 garlic cloves (often added in traditional “tonic” versions).

Instructions:

  1. Extract Gel: Wash the aloe leaf, remove the green skin, and scoop out the clear gel.
  2. Boil: Place the aloe gel and cinnamon sticks in a saucepan with the water.
  3. Simmer: Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10–15 minutes.
  4. Strain: Filter the mixture into a cup or glass jar.
  5. Serve: Drink warm. Traditional use suggests one cup daily, preferably on an empty stomach, for up to two weeks.

Alternative Blended Remedy (Cold Shot)

This version is used more for metabolism and refreshing wellness. 

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon fresh aloe vera gel.
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder.
  • 1 tablespoon raw honey.
  • 1 cup water or fresh lemon juice. 

Instructions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Drink immediately, or store in a glass jar in the refrigerator for up to 10 days. 

Pregnancy: These drinks are generally not recommended for pregnant women.
