BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger Lasagna

Ingredients:

  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes, drained
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Noodles: Boil the lasagna noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Brown the Beef: In a large skillet, cook the ground beef with diced onion until browned. Drain excess fat, then stir in BBQ sauce, diced tomatoes, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Layer the Lasagna: In a greased baking dish, layer 3 lasagna noodles, half of the beef mixture, half the bacon, and 1 cup of cheddar cheese. Repeat layers, ending with a final layer of noodles.
  4. Top & Bake: Sprinkle the top with remaining cheese and bacon. Cover with foil and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes, removing foil for the last 10 minutes to allow the cheese to melt and turn golden.
  5. Garnish & Serve: Let cool for 10 minutes, then garnish with fresh cilantro before slicing and serving!
