BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger Lasagna
Ingredients:
- 9 lasagna noodles
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 6 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 large onion, diced
- 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes, drained
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions:
- Cook the Noodles: Boil the lasagna noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Brown the Beef: In a large skillet, cook the ground beef with diced onion until browned. Drain excess fat, then stir in BBQ sauce, diced tomatoes, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Layer the Lasagna: In a greased baking dish, layer 3 lasagna noodles, half of the beef mixture, half the bacon, and 1 cup of cheddar cheese. Repeat layers, ending with a final layer of noodles.
- Top & Bake: Sprinkle the top with remaining cheese and bacon. Cover with foil and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes, removing foil for the last 10 minutes to allow the cheese to melt and turn golden.
- Garnish & Serve: Let cool for 10 minutes, then garnish with fresh cilantro before slicing and serving!
