Angel Beef Casserole
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs lean ground beef
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 packet (1 oz) Italian dressing mix
- 7 cups frozen tater tots
Instructions:
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Brown the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain any excess fat.
- Mix the Creamy Sauce: In a separate bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, melted butter, and Italian dressing mix. Stir until smooth and well combined.
- Combine Beef and Sauce: Add the cooked ground beef to the creamy mixture, stirring until the beef is evenly coated.
- Transfer to Baking Dish: Pour the beef and cream mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
- Add Tater Tots: Arrange the frozen tater tots on top of the beef mixture in a single layer.
- Bake: Place the casserole in the oven and bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
