Air Fryer Donuts Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 can Pillsbury flaky biscuits
- Olive oil cooking spray
For the Glaze:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tbsp vanilla extract
- 3-4 tbsp cocoa powder (optional, for chocolate frosting)
For Coating:
- Cinnamon and sugar mixture
Instructions:
- Lay out the Pillsbury flaky biscuits on a tray.
- Use an icing tip or a small circular object to create holes in the center of each biscuit.
- Give the biscuits a gentle spray with olive oil cooking spray.
- Place the biscuits in the air fryer set at 325°F (165°C) for 6-8 minutes until they’re golden and cooked through.
- While the donuts are air frying, prepare the glaze:
- In a bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- For chocolate frosting, add cocoa powder and mix until well combined.
- Once the donuts are done, let them cool slightly.
- Dip each donut into the glaze or coat them with the cinnamon and sugar mixture.
- Place the glazed or coated donuts on a wire rack to allow any excess glaze to drip off.
- Allow the glaze to set for a few minutes before serving.
