Air Fryer Donuts Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 can Pillsbury flaky biscuits
  • Olive oil cooking spray

For the Glaze:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 3-4 tbsp cocoa powder (optional, for chocolate frosting)

For Coating:

  • Cinnamon and sugar mixture

Instructions:

  1. Lay out the Pillsbury flaky biscuits on a tray.
  2. Use an icing tip or a small circular object to create holes in the center of each biscuit.
  3. Give the biscuits a gentle spray with olive oil cooking spray.
  4. Place the biscuits in the air fryer set at 325°F (165°C) for 6-8 minutes until they’re golden and cooked through.
  5. While the donuts are air frying, prepare the glaze:
    • In a bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
    • For chocolate frosting, add cocoa powder and mix until well combined.
  6. Once the donuts are done, let them cool slightly.
  7. Dip each donut into the glaze or coat them with the cinnamon and sugar mixture.
  8. Place the glazed or coated donuts on a wire rack to allow any excess glaze to drip off.
  9. Allow the glaze to set for a few minutes before serving.
