Bacon Ranch Vegetables

Ingredients:

  •  1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed.
  •  1 1/2 pounds baby potatoes, halved or quartered.
  •  6 slices bacon.
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning blend.
  •  3 teaspoons melted butter.
  •  2 cloves garlic, minced.
  •  Salt and pepper to taste.
  •  Fresh parsley for garnish.

Instructions:

  1. Boil potatoes in salted water for 10-12 minutes until fork tender. Drain and set aside.
  2. Boil green beans 5-7 minutes until crisp-tender. Drain and set aside.
  3. Fry bacon until crispy. Remove, crumble, and reserve 1 tablespoon bacon fat.
  4. Mix garlic, ranch seasoning, and melted butter in a bowl.
  5. Add vegetables to skillet with bacon fat, toss with ranch butter mixture and crumbled bacon.
  6. Season with salt and pepper, garnish with parsley and serve warm.
