Creamy Smoked Sausage Pasta
Ingredients:
- 12 oz package of kielbasa
- 16 oz box of pasta
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 (8 oz) cans tomato sauce
- 3 tbsp tomato paste
- ½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp each of Italian seasoning and garlic powder
- ½ tsp salt and pepper
- Dried parsley
Directions:
Prep Kielbasa Pasta:
- Gather all ingredients and slice kielbasa into small rounds.
- Measure out seasonings and shred Parmesan cheese if using a block.
Cook Sausage:
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown sliced kielbasa until golden.
- Remove from skillet and set aside.
Prepare Sauce:
- Add butter to the skillet over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic, heavy cream, tomato sauce, tomato paste, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Mix well and simmer for a few minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Combine Pasta and Sauce:
- Cook pasta according to box directions.
- Drain cooked pasta and combine with the sauce, ensuring it is well coated.
