Creamy Smoked Sausage Pasta

Ingredients:

  • 12 oz package of kielbasa
  • 16 oz box of pasta
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 (8 oz) cans tomato sauce
  • 3 tbsp tomato paste
  • ½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp each of Italian seasoning and garlic powder
  • ½ tsp salt and pepper
  • Dried parsley

Directions:

Prep Kielbasa Pasta:
  • Gather all ingredients and slice kielbasa into small rounds.
  • Measure out seasonings and shred Parmesan cheese if using a block.
Cook Sausage:
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown sliced kielbasa until golden.
  • Remove from skillet and set aside.
Prepare Sauce:
  • Add butter to the skillet over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic, heavy cream, tomato sauce, tomato paste, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Mix well and simmer for a few minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Combine Pasta and Sauce:
  • Cook pasta according to box directions.
  • Drain cooked pasta and combine with the sauce, ensuring it is well coated.
