Crunchy Parmesan Potato Bites
Ingredients:
- 4 mid sized Potatoes, Yukon Gold is my preference, washed but Do Not Peel
- ½ tsp Garlic Powder
- ½ tsp Onion Powder
- ¼ tsp ground black pepper
- ¼ tsp salt
- 4 tbsp Olive Oil
- ½ tsp Parsley
- 4 tbsp Parmesan Cheese, freshly grated or bought from the refrigerated Section,
Instructions:
FIRST STEP:
- Preheat oven to 450*
- Line a baking tray with parchment paper
- Slice the washed, unpeeled potatoes to a ¼” thickness or into eighths lengthwise for steakfries.
SECOND STEP:
- In a boil place the Olive oil and coat the slices of potatoes
- In another bowl add the Garlic Powder, onion Powder, Black Pepper, Salt and the Parsley.
- Mix in half of the Parmesan Cheese
THIRD STEP:
- Toss the Potato Slices in the seasoning and coat evenly
FOURTH STEP:
- Bake for 15 minutes, remove from the oven and flip the potatoes
- Bake for another 15 minutes
FIFTH STEP:
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle with the remaining Parmesan Cheese
- Place under a broiler set on low for 2 to 4 minutes, until the cheese begins to bubble and turn brown
