Easy Two Ingredient Biscuits
Preparation Time | 10 min |
Cooking Time | 12 min |
Serves | 6 fluffy biscuits |
Ingredients:
→ Dry Ingredients
01 2 cups self-rising flour
→ Wet Ingredients
02 ¾ cup milk, water, or your favorite plant-based milk
Instructions:
Step 01
Start by heating your oven to 450°F. This high temperature is what gives these biscuits their beautiful golden color and fluffy texture.
Step 02
Grab a large mixing bowl and combine your self-rising flour with whatever liquid you’re using today. Stir everything together until you’ve got a nice, soft dough that holds together.
Step 03
Turn your dough onto a lightly floured counter and gently pat it down to about half an inch thick. Don’t overwork it – gentle hands make tender biscuits!
Step 04
Use a biscuit cutter or even a clean glass to cut out your biscuits. Here’s a little trick: place them close together on an ungreased baking sheet for soft, pillowy sides, or space them apart if you prefer crispier edges.
Step 05
Pop them in the oven for 10 to 12 minutes, keeping an eye on them until the tops turn that gorgeous golden brown color.
Step 06
Let them cool for just a few minutes, then serve them up warm. They’re absolutely delicious with butter, your favorite jam, or whatever topping makes you happy.
