Garlic Butter Steak and Potato Foil Packets

Garlic Butter Steak and Potato Foil Packets Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 1ā„2 lb beef stew meat
  • 1 bag mini potatoes (These little bags are usually 1 1/2 pounds)
  • seasonings of your choice (I like to use salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning)
  • 1 stick butter, sliced into smaller pieces
  • 2 tbsp minced garlic

SLow Cooker Instructions:

  1. Spray your crockpot with non stick spray.
  2. If time permits, I really like to sear my steak bites for some color and added flavor before adding them to the crockpot, but I’ve just thrown them in right out of the package many times, too. It works out great either way
  3. Add the stew meat to one side of the crockpot, add the potatoes to the other side of the crockpot and drizzle them with a little oil. Season everything with the seasonings of your choice.
  4. Spoon the garlic over the meat and potatoes as evenly as you can.
  5. Then place the pieces of butter across the top of the meat and potatoes.
  6. Cover and cook on high 4-5 hours until the meat is done and reaches 145 degress.
  7. This has such a rich and buttery flavor I like t keep the sides simple like a salad or some steamed broccoli. Hope you enjoy this one!
