Salt and pepper to taste.

Cut 4 (12×12-inch) sheets of heavy-duty foil, and fill each foil pack with 2 cups of broccoli and 1 cup of chopped sausage. Add salt and pepper to taste. Bring up 2 sides of the foil so that the edges meet. Seal the edges by making a tight 1/2-inch fold, then fold again, allowing space for heat circulation and expansion.

Place the packs on the grill and cook for 7 minutes. Then, flip the foil packs and cook for another 7 minutes. Carefully open the packs and sprinkle each with 1/4 cup of shredded cheddar cheese. Using tongs, tent the foil pack over the foil pack, allowing the cheese to melt. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, then remove from the heat.
