You’ll need a sachet of Hartleys Sugar Free Jelly, powdered gelatine, boiling water, fat-free yogurt, and a touch of vanilla essence. Creating the Jelly Base

To start, dissolve the sugar-free jelly and gelatine in boiling water until everything is well combined. Next, set aside a portion of the jelly mixture in a separate jug. This portion will later be mixed with fat-free yogurt and vanilla essence to create a creamy layer within the sweets.

Adding a Creamy Layer of Yogurt

Pour the remaining jelly mixture into silicone moulds, making sure not to fill them completely. Place the moulds in the refrigerator for 15 minutes to allow the jelly to set slightly. Meanwhile, return to the jug with the reserved jelly mixture and mix in the fat-free yogurt and vanilla essence until fully combined.

Allowing the Sweets to Set in the Fridge

After the 15 minutes have passed, take out the moulds from the fridge and top up each one with the yogurt jelly mixture. This step adds a delicious creamy layer to the sweets. Return the moulds to the fridge and let them set for a total of 4 hours.

Once the setting time is complete, carefully remove the jelly sweets from the moulds. The end result is a colorful assortment of homemade Haribo-like treats that are both visually appealing and satisfying to eat.

  • 1 Sachet Hartleys Sugar Free Jelly
  • 2 Sachets Powdered Gelatine
  • ½ Pint Boiling Water
  • 160 g Fat Free Yogurt
  • ½ tsp Vanilla Essence


  1. Add the jelly and gelatine into the measuring jug with ½ pint of boiling water. Mix well until everything has disolved
  2. Pour ⅓ of the jelly mixture into another jug and leave to one side.
  3. Pour the rest of the jelly mixture into the silicone moulds, but dont fill the moulds uto he topt as you need to add the yoghurt jelly later.
  4. Put the jelly moulds into the fridge for 15 minutes.
  5. While the moulds are in the fridge. Go back to the jug that has the ⅓ jelly mixture, add in the yoghurt and vanilla and mix together until it is fully combined.
  6. Remove the moulds from the fridge, top up each of the moulds with the yoghurt jelly mixture. Put the moulds back in the fridge and leave for 4 hours.
  7. Carefully remove the Jelly Sweets from the moulds and enjoy.
